How does Protection Plus help you?

Protection Plus includes excess protection, which covers up to {{currency}} 1000 of your excess and substantially reduces your financial liability for any damage to the vehicle.

Excess protection covers theft, vandalism, and damage to the vehicle, including

  • The car’s bodywork
  • Roof
  • Undercarriage
  • Windscreen and other glass
  • Mirrors
  • Wheels
  • Tyres

Please note that Car Rental Companies will still hold a security deposit.

How to claim a refund?

If the vehicle is stolen, vandalised or damaged, you need to first pay the local Car Rental Company for damage and then you can claim a refund from Wisecars. Please let us know about the event by sending an email to support@wisecars.com as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours after your rental ends. We will help you with the refund process.
