I was a longtime customer of another company who eliminated their entire call centre support. So I switched to Wisecars who offers real human customer support. So far great experience!

Pointe a Pitre

What to do in Pointe a Pitre:

Pointe-à-Pitre is the commercial center of Guadeloupe and a lively introduction to the French Caribbean. The city’s historic core features colorful Creole architecture, covered markets, small squares, and waterfront streets overlooking the Petit Cul-de-Sac Marin. Marché Saint-Antoine is a particularly atmospheric stop, with vendors selling tropical fruit, spices, seafood, and local specialties. Nearby cultural attractions explore Guadeloupe’s history and Caribbean identity, while the city’s location between Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre makes it a practical starting point for exploring the archipelago.

A rental car is especially useful in Guadeloupe, allowing travelers to move easily between beaches, rainforest, and smaller communities. Grande-Terre is known for its white-sand coastline, with popular areas around Sainte-Anne, Saint-François, and Le Moule, while Basse-Terre rises into lush volcanic terrain dominated by La Soufrière. Routes through Guadeloupe National Park lead to waterfalls, hiking trails, and dense tropical forest, and the Route de la Traversée crosses the island from coast to coast. Boat trips to Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, or La Désirade provide another way to experience the surrounding Caribbean landscape.
