I've used Wisecars many times and have recommended it to others. The website is very simple to navigate and pick out cars, but most importantly the prices have always been lower than other websites.

Auckland

What to do in Auckland :

Auckland spreads across a landscape of volcanic hills, sheltered harbors, and narrow stretches of land between the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea. The Sky Tower dominates the central skyline, while the waterfront and Viaduct Harbour are filled with restaurants, bars, and boats. Neighborhoods such as Ponsonby and Parnell bring a more local atmosphere, with independent stores, galleries, and cafés, while the Auckland War Memorial Museum offers insight into New Zealand’s history and Māori heritage. From Mount Eden and other volcanic cones, visitors can take in wide views across the city and its many islands.

The region surrounding Auckland is especially suited to road trips, with beaches, vineyards, forests, and coastal landscapes all within reach. Waiheke Island is known for its wineries and beaches, while the black-sand shores of Piha and Muriwai sit among the rugged Waitākere ranges. Heading north leads to the beaches and vineyards of the Matakana region, and further along, the Bay of Islands opens up a spectacular coastal landscape. Auckland’s combination of urban attractions and easy access to nature makes it a natural starting point for exploring New Zealand’s North Island.
