What to do in Milan:
Milan is the capital of Italy's Lombardy region. The city is known for the iconic Duomo Cathedral but has many other historical sights to see: the outstanding opera La Scala, the medieval Sforza Castle, and the dazzling Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade. It's Italy's leading financial center famous for the cuisine and fashion industry. Milan's ruling family once lived in the medieval Castello Sforzesco. Be sure to check out the Medieval and Renaissance-era artwork inside the castle's museums. You can ride around the city on an elegant tram while enjoying quality restaurant food. Milan is also known for aperitivo but we do not recommend drinking while driving a rental car.
